Japan

Big Earthquake

Oohhh, we’ve just had a big one!!!

“6-” on the Japanese scale of 7!!
Located a fair bit north of Tokyo, in Miyagi-ken. However, by the time the shockwave hit Matsudo (working at home at the moment), it still shook the apartment for a fair while.
Watching TV now, looks like they just issued a localised Tsunami warning, due to arrive at 12:10.

EDIT: BBC now reporting.
All fine down in my part of Japan though.

It hurts

Once again, the day after some karaoke, my throught hurts. Though, this time, it isn’t so bad.

A good time was had by all, where I amazed everyone with my sublime singing skills… yeah right!

Finally, this story made me laugh. The guy is a star.

Japan

Do re me so ….

*** cough cough ***

Just clearing my throat ready for tomorrow.
Since we’ve decided to meet up with Yuko’s younger brother, Fuminari, at the Korean Yakiniku place… a decision has been made by the boss (Yuko) that we will be attended karaoke afterwards.

Should be good fun, and hopefully my signing voice has got a little better. Then again, pigs might fly.
Must remember to drink more before signing this time. I sing better when I’m drunk (I honestly believe ;) ) and it also numbs the pain in my throat after belting out the 10th or so song.

Looking forward to it.
