Yesterday morning, Yuko and I finally arrived back in Japan, after spending some three and a half months away. The Melbourne we just left looked like it was starting to enter spring, with quite sunny weather and about 22 degrees C. Japan is about 30-33 degrees C, and a quite humid. According to Yuko’s mum, it’s not that bad and we are no entering Autumn!! Hmm, not sure about it being Autumn yet, but I’m not finding it too hot. There’s a nice breeze in the house, so no need for Air Con.

The apartment was all in one piece when we got back. We are feeling somewhat lazy this weekend, so last night we headed off to one of the restaurants we like in Matsudo (Garden Magic), where some of the staff we all asking about our trip to Australia. I’ve said I’ll give them a wine list of stuff we think they should import from Australia.

This coming week will probably be a little busy for me, from a work point of view. At least the week after I’m on holiday. Looks like Yuko and I will head off to Tokyo Disney (we need to use a freebie ticket we got from the Wedding Organisers).

The only thing that has not been so good is that my PC Laptop is well and truly f**ked! Good job I backed up everything before we left, and that I have the MacBookPro. I had been hoping to sell the old Compaq to foreigners based in Japan (JET staff, or other English teachers). However, it seems the Hard Disk is playing up. Quite impressive, as it was working when I left Japan. Nobody has used the computer since, and at the moment, Windows Setup can’t even format the hard disk! Stupid piece of junk! (ooo, seems to have got past where it was stuck… hmmm.. still a little concerned about it)
