Whoops, Asimo had a slight accident recently.

Here in the UK, it’s still pretty wet, with the odd spell of it not raining (sometimes, the sun even comes out).
Yuko and I went down to Cardiff centre, to sort some things out, plus do some generally wandering around. We looked around at the fresh food produce in the central market, and we learnt that there is another market which opens on a Sunday. We did plan going there, but the weather wasn’t so great on Sunday, and Yuko and I are feeling not so great with a nasty little cold that seems to be doing the rounds here. We’ll check out that other market next week, as it sells lots of organic food.

So far, I haven’t got too annoyed with British trains yet. There’s been the odd delay (as usual!!!), but unlike the Japanese commute, I can get a seat all the time making it easier for me to get a snooze on the train. The public transport system in Cardiff isn’t too bad. The bus is 3 quid (3 British Pounds) for an all day pass around Cardiff (it’s what we would have to pay anyway for a return ticket from our house on the outskirts of Bath to the centre), and they run every 10 minutes during day.

One thing we are missing, Yuko more than me it has to be said, is SASHIMI and SUSHI!!! And I mean real, proper Japanese stuff, not the junk you can pick up in Marks and Spencers during your lunchbreak. I suspect Yuko will be off to the market during the week to get some fish… though we a bit wary of eating British fish raw. Never mind, we’ll have to cook it.
