Maybe I should explain the cryptic post title.

For the last couple of days (left Friday, got back yesterday everning) have been spent in Germany on a Stag do, in Dusseldorf (though we managed a day trip to Cologne).
During that time, I ate a hell of a lot of the stuff! In fact, I think today was the first day I’ve eaten any reasonable quanity of the non-pig or non-bread based food substance!

Anyway, a good time was had by all. From my point of view, it was good fun to experience another country again. I also understand why my father-in-law really enjoyed Germany as a student as well.

All that needs to be done now is find out where the hell I can buy some Alt and Kölsch beer.

Because of the now-friendly rivalry between Kölsch and Altbier-producing cities, particularly Düsseldorf, one can purchase PC keyboards in Kölsch with a “Kölsch key”, instead of an “Alt” key.
