Been here too long…

Kids Games

In the last post, I said that the Japanese sometimes act like big kids with their attraction to all things cute. Hmm, seems I’ve been here to long. Yuko brought a game to play on my PSP. However, it seems that I am enjoying it a lot more. Loco Roco rocks!!! Despite it’s cuteness. The music is great too. The UK site has a little demo of the game too.

More Problems for Sony

After the problems with Sony batteries fitted to Dells, and Apple Powerbooks, it seems that Sony batteries are not too good in Toshiba laptops too. Doh!

Russkies going Green?

Nah, I doubt it! The environmental ruling is just a smoke screen for the Russians to kick out the foreign companies (US and Japanese) and move in their own, so they can keep the Oil/Gas for themselves, or sell for a higher price.

Cars, PS2, Road, Technology and Computing

Final post before the weekend

Cool ‘car‘!! :)

For some reason, reminds me of a pre-WW2 Mercedes Grand Prix car (the grill on the front of the car).

Also, realised that this weekend, I’m going to be missing this event, and not get to see some PS3 action!
Typical, you have a cool event, just down the road (well, railway line) in Chiba, and I’m fricking kilometers away in Osaka. Osaka better be as good as people have been telling me it is ;) with this tasty food they keep going on about.
Ahhh, 15 minutes until I’m leaving the office. Walk over to the station. Meet Yuko. Buy some food and beer to consume on the 新幹線 (‘Shinkansen’, or Bullet Train as us Westerners like to call it).

PS2, Technology and Computing

OH.MY.GOD!

Head on over here and take a Peek at the PlayStation 3 video (don’t bother with the Tekken one).

There’s some interesting stuff at first… but wait until you see the KillZone one!

Holy shit! That looks amazing.

EDIT: New links found. This is where you can see the KillZone stuff. The rest of the PS3 videos are here

PS2, Technology and Computing

Signs you are getting old. No2?

I don’t play with my PS2 much anymore. Haven’t played a PC game properly for ages!

Hmmm. Having said that, photography is taking up more time than it used, so I guess it’s just a transfer from one set of techy hobby to another.

Just wondering when I will take up garden bowls now??!! :)
