Little Ippoippo

This has always been one of my recommended DVDs, but it’s never been for sale in Japan, so I never said anything about it.
I saw in a free paper, called “METRO” in UK, an interview with Matt Lucas. He said:

I went to Japan recently to promote the Little Britain DVD. It was exciting.

At last! For sale in Japan! Hurrah!!
This is a comedy pogramme, and its interesting to see modern British culture compared to Monty Python.
I haven’t watched the Japanese edition. I’m interested in the Japanese subtitles and dubbing because I was disappointed with “Mr.Bean” dubbing. It was a change of character, so I want to see if they’ve got it wrong again.

ずっと前から、わしのお薦めDVDリストにあったのですが、日本では発売されていなかったため、あまり口にしませんでしたが、１ヶ月程前のフリー・ペーパー「METRO」にMatt Lucasがインタビューで「Little Britainが日本で発売されることになって、日本に行ってきた。とても楽しかった」と言っていた。
遂に、遂に、日本上陸！したんですねぇと喜んだもんです。
コメディでモンティ・パイソンよりも解りやすい英国世相が楽しめると思います。
わしは日本語訳を見たことがないので気になる所ですが・・・そして、吹替えも気になります。というのも、吹替えでがっくりした「Mr.Bean」。なんだってビーンの言葉の語尾に「なのね」だか何だか変な喋りになっていた気がします。なので、今回のLittle Britainの吹替えもどれだけがっくりさせられるのか、見てみたいと思うのです。

Snow! It was snowing this morning, but it changed to rain and now has stopped.
Yesterday, the weather forecast said to may snow. I thought not much, but it snowed quite a lot. After Gavin left house, I went for walk and took photos. Normally I don’t go out weekdays, but today there was a snow man in a park before 8 o’clock.

雪！雪じゃ。でも、午前中で雨に変わって、今は雨も止みました。
昨日の夜から雪が降るかもしれないと言っていたけど、大したことはないだろうと思っていたんだけど、結構降りました。ギャビンを送り出して、散歩がてら写真を撮りに行った。普段は外に一歩もでないんだけど・・・８時前だというのに、公園に既に雪だるまが出来ていました。

It is a quiz show. The presenter is called Anne, who is really smart! She’s like “Mariko KAGA”, who is a Japanese actress…?(She is a bitter critic)
Anne often says “I don’t like old people, they can’t do it properly” to the old panel. When I saw that first time, I felt she was rude. Also the media criticised her behaviour, but I love her now!
Recently, if I answer a question, I feel good “my listening is improving”. However, I only answer Japanese related questions or first round easy questions. I know it’s a delusion but I’m still happy! Let me live a lie… because I never understood 3 years ago.

クイズ番組なんですけど、司会をしているアンおば様、かっこいいんです！加賀マリ子の様な感じって言うのでしょうか？
人を切捨てる様な台詞。「爺婆は言われたことが出来ないから嫌いよ」とか言っちゃう。初めて見た時はなんて失礼な人なんじゃろ？と思ったし、マスコミにも叩かれていた時期もあったみたいだけど、今は大ファンです。
最近、問題に答えられたりすると「なんか英語を聞けてきている〜♬」なんという錯覚に陥り、わしを酔わせてくれる番組だす。と言っても、日本関係の出題や、最初のラウンドに出題される簡単な問題しか聞き取れないんだけどさ。酔わせてよー。昔はかすりもしなかったからさ。

It’s a hobby? No, an illness? If I see a cooking programme, I watch that. I think I’m a food-maniac and sometimes it’s easy to understand English as well…
The “Green pepper” and “Red tomato” team guests bring food with a 5 Pound limit. A Pro-chef makes a menu and then they cook together in 20 minutes(Chefs are main, guests help them). 3 to 4 dishes on average? The audience vote which they want to eat, and the winning guest is given a prize.
After, the winning chef has to cook another meal in 10 minutes.
I haven’t tried their recipes but I refer to them.
It was shown on Aussie TV with a local version in Australia. Web site is below.

ちょっとした趣味？否否、病気？みたいなもので、料理番組はつい目が止まってしまうのであります。多分、食いしん坊で、見ていて理解しやすいから・・・だとも思うんですが。
グリーン・ペッパー(つまりはピーマン！？)とレッド・トマトのチームのゲストが決められた金額内で食材を持って来て、食材からプロシェフがメニューを決め、プロシェフとゲストで２０分以内に料理を完成させる(シェフがメインでゲストはシェフのお手伝いって感じです)。３〜４品作るのが相場でしょうか？観客がどっちの料理を食べたいか票を取る。勝ったチームのゲストに賞金が与えられるというもの。また、番組が用意した食材で両シェフが何を作るか説明し、観客に票を取り、票の多かったシェフがその食材を使って１０分以内で料理する。という、２コーナー番組。番組のレシピを真似て作ったことはないんですが、参考になります。
